Logica’s water sector innovation day – 8 September 2009
The Water Sector Innovation Day showcased many innovative solutions. The day started with a keynote presentation from Dr Mike Farrimond, Director of UKWIR which presented a few provocative points on innovation in the sector. Further sessions provided some ideas about how innovation can be harnessed in your organisations to deliver increased efficiencies. The delegates were also able to visit Logica’s new Spark Innovation Centre. View the day's presentations.

Highest IT Services ranking for Logica in CDP report
The Carbon Disclosure Project’s (CDP) Global 500 report, which provides the most comprehensive assessment of global data on corporate greenhouse gas emissions and climate change strategies, has ranked Logica top of the FTSE 350 for IT Services.
Defence Estates appoints Logica to deliver ministry of defence carbon monitoring system
The system, based on Logica’s SIRA sustainability reporting tool, will capture real-time data from the large number of energy smart meters currently being installed in buildings across defence sites. Read more.
New Wiltshire Council Goes Live supported by Shared Service Transformation
The new Wiltshire Unitary Council came into operation on the 1st April 2009 supported by a new corporate shared service for the Finance, Procurement, and HR, Payroll functions - and is already exceeding the client’s predicted planned savings. Logica launches sustainability performance reporting tool
Faced with increasing external pressures to report on sustainability indicators, the Sustainability Indicator Reporting Application (SIRA) will enable organisations to comply with current and future legislative reporting requirements and help companies identify how to reduce their environmental impact. Logica launches LogicaTV
Logica has launched LogicaTV, the first international WebTV dedicated to transformation and innovation. LogicaTV is designed to be an interactive forum that enables the exchange of ideas and best practices. Several video content features, including columns, interviews, debates, reports, demonstrations, will now be accessible from an interface that provides advanced interactive functions like personalised play-lists, comments and video blogging. LogicaTV has two main channels – Transformation and Innovation.

Logica has launched its first UK Spark Innovation Centre, The new centre showcases innovative solutions and act as a hub to develop ideas and collaborate in partnership with you.
