New PROCOS version is now launched: CBAS 04.01
Logica has by October 2011 launched a new version of PROCOS. Additional functionality and features is added and the support for the latest Microsoft operating systems and Oracle 11 is as for CBAS 04.00 continued.

    New functions in PROCOS:

    Electronic Log Book
One of the new major functions added to the latest version of PROCOS is the Electronic Log Book (LogBook). For many process manufactures the daily documentation of operations in the production is a mandatory thing. Unfortunately, many of this documentation processes, more og less is manually carried out supported by printed schemes that needs to be ‘tapped in’ either during the production or after. This manually process is involved with a certain risk and can lead to lack of track & traceability, in order to fullfill compliant regulations.

LogBook is intended to replace most of the manual logs operators and production staff has to carry out. LogBook helps to ensure that operator interventions beyond the normal level of operation, is properly tracked and commented.

    Log display Pop Up
This function also makes daily production operations much easier for operators and personel. This Log Display can be configured to ‘pop up’ automatically, when a new alarm or event trigger occurs.

New I/O modules added for PROCOS:
The number of available Beckhoff I/O modules for PROCOS, continue to increase. Now following modules is available:

    • 16 channel digital input 24 V DC 3mS
    • 16 channel digital input 24 V DC - 0 V (ground switching)
