New Wiltshire Council Goes Live supported by Shared Service Transformation

The new Wiltshire Unitary Council came into operation on the 1st April 2009 supported by a new corporate shared service for the Finance, Procurement, and HR, Payroll functions - and is already exceeding the client’s predicted planned savings.

Logica is proud to have worked as an integral transformation partner within the Business Management Programme (BMP) to deliver new processes, enabling ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) technology and new team structures as well as sharing knowledge with our Wiltshire colleagues to provide the fundamental building blocks for the operational efficiency of the new Council.

The comprehensive benefits-led transformation programme went live on-time and within budget, a significant undertaking given it required the merger of five local authorities into one new, integrated and streamlined organisational structure.
