Logica has announced the winner of the Global Innovation Venture Partner (GIVP) Programme for 2009. The global winner that competed with seven other country winners is the Swedish innovation company Appear for their context-aware mobile technology.

The technology changes the way information is delivered, received and presented on mobile devices as it analyses each user’s situation (context) and determines what information, applications and services the user needs. This technology was selected because it has a myriad of possibilities for our varied base of customers and can enable them to deliver better customer service, develop new business and revenue models as well as enhance the overall customer experience.

Appear the global winner will now embark on a collaboratively working relationship with Logica to bring innovation to the door steps of our customers through a joint go-to-market strategy, targeting Logica’s blue-chip customer base across the world.  Read the press release here.
